Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch 25

Good morning ladies! We have another sketch from Arlana for Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The sponsor this week is Joni from Inktegrity. I chose her new release Little Helper and used the Large Turkey for my card. The challenge is to use fall colors so he is perfect.

Here is my card. I used SU Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. The patterned paper is this beautiful paper from Making Memories called Autumn Splendor. I just love it! I used the SU Flourish embossing plate for the Old Olive CS. My ribbon and button, twine are all just stuff from my stash. I colored this really cute turkey with Prismacolor markers. I wanted him to be vibrant and I think I accomplished that. I hope you will stop over at the SSW blog and see what the rest of the awesome DT ladies have made this week. They are always amazing! Play along and win some of Joni's fabulous digi images. Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a SWEET and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The OCC Challenge Snow Globe

Good morning ladies! I just had to make another snow globe, you can't make just one. They are so much fun to make! Our Creative Corner Challenge this week is a color challenge. They are my favorite colors so it was right up my alley. The colors are SU Close to Cocoa, Choc Chip, Pumpkin Pie, and White. I decided to use a Digi image from Stamps and Smiles, from the Fall Harvest Set. He can be purchased in the SAS Store HERE. He is perfect for paper piecing and placing in the globe. I colored my image with Prismacolor Markers and used Ranger Stickles to add sparkle to the leaves and my pumpkins. I sprayed this whole project with Gold Glimmer Mist. Adds a really nice golden glow. I used some of my favorite Pumpkin Pie Ribbon from SU. Just a really fun project.
In case you didn't notice I have winterized my blog. I had such a hard time deciding what to do with it. I am pretty happy with what I have done. Easy on the eyes. I am off to work on a couple of DT projects, my free time is over. I had fun entering a few challenges this weekend but now I have to get back to business. I will see you tomorrow for Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We have an awesome sketch and Inktegrity is the sponsor!

Pixie Dust Studio Pixie Challenge #1

Good morning ladies! How is the weekend going, mine is nice! Working on a few things! I thought I would enter the Pixie Dust Studio's first Pixie Challenge. There is an adorable free Santa download HERE. The Challenge is to use the Santa and add some texture to your project. Well, I decided to make a snowglobe. I used my Cricut "Joys of the Season" cartridge to cut this out. I used SU Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Old Olive CS. I used a small bit of Making Memories FaLaLa paper for the tag and border on the bottom. I used a Snowflakes Embossing Folder for the backround of the globe. I punched out additional snowflakes with a MS punch. I colored this adorable image with Prismacolor Markers. I used lots of glitter. This globe just sparkles because I sprayed the whole thing with Tattered Angels "Pearl" Glimmer Mist. I love how this turned out and am working on a Fall one. The weather here is beautiful for November, the sun is shining. I hope it is the same wherever you are! Thanks for visiting today!

Peek-a-Boo Box for Project Tuesday

Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. It is going really fast for me. I thought I would post the little Peek-a-Boo Box I made for the Stamps and Smiles PROJECT TUESDAY Challenge. There is a very nice tutorial included. The directions are easy and clear and the finished project is just so cute! My box is made with the Little Yellow Bicycle "The 25 Days of Christmas" paper. It is nice sturdy card stock. I used the Red Snowflake double sided paper. Here is an inside view of my box.

I used SU Matchbox Messages and SU punches and acetate with dots. Martha Stewart Snowflake punch, glitter, bakers twine. I decorated it with buttons that I had for years. They come in a big package. I filled my box with Malley's Snow Wafers, yummo! This box is small but would be great for a small jewelry gift or candy. I really like how it came out and it was fun to make. Thanks for stopping by today and have a SWEET afternoon!

Hi ladies! I am a Guest Designer for Stamps and Smiles Fall/Winter Release. I created this project from the TRIM a TREE set. I used a small unfinished frame and covered it in Melissa Frances Paper. I stamped this adorable tree and the gifts. I cut everything out and made them stand out inside the frame. I decorated the tree with all kinds of sparkly goodies. I used stickles and glitter. I love how this turned out! Stamps and Smiles has just released Digi images. I hope you will visit the Stamps and Smiles site to see what the rest of the DT has created! They are so inspiring!

Sweet Sketch 24!

Good morning ladies! It is Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Here is Sketch 24, another really fun sketch to work with. Arlana has the very best sketches. Our sponsor this week is the Digi Stamp Boutique. Sally Ann is offering a prize of $15.00 in her delightful digi images to the winner this week. I love her images and have selected Evie & Fairy Dust for my card this week.

I used some of the DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl patterned paper for my card. I thought it fit perfectly with the Evie image. I colored Evie with Prismacolor markers and pencils. I used some glitter and stickles to sparkle her up. I punched out my flowers and added some silver jewelry findings and pearls. I stitched on this card and added some sheer ribbon. I love how she turned out! Head on over the the SSW blog and see what the rest of the wonderful and talented Design Team have done with the Digi Stamp Boutique's images, and play along this week for a chance to win the fabulous prize!
